Services avaiable to persons with reduced mobility
. Delcomar provides assistance to people with reduced mobility (PRM), i.e. anyone who has a particular difficulty in using public transport, including the elderly, people with disabilities, people with sensory disorders and those who use wheelchairs, pregnant women and those accompanying young children; Assistance is provided in ports and on board ships, including during embarkation and disembarkation.
Persons with reduced mobility can notify Delcomar in advance of their specific needs for accommodation, seating, services requested or the need to transport medical equipment by contacting the Information Office by telephone at the company toll-free number 800.195.344, by e-mail at info@delcomar.it or directly at the Port Ticket Offices.
For special assistance needs, people with disabilities and people with reduced mobility must notify Delcomar at least forty-eight hours before departure.
In order to ensure complete assistance, it is necessary to show up at the ticket office or at the boarding gate at least 60 minutes before the departure time. It will not be possible in any way to guarantee priority boarding to those who arrive less than sixty minutes in advance.
Delcomar staff will provide the necessary information on the ship’s equipment (lift or stairlift, bathroom dedicated to PRMs), and on embarkation and disembarkation operations, including how to recognize the car carrying the PRM.
