BOARDING AND DISEMBARKATION

The Passenger, with or without a vehicle, must show up at the offices of the ports of embarkation within the deadline indicated in the publications (tickets, times, fares and other notices) in course of validity: after this period the Passenger loses all right to Boarding.

Whatever the order of presentation, on the basis of the priority requirements for adequate and safe accommodation of the vehicles inside the garage, Delcomar, the Commander and the Load Officers have the right to establish the order of boarding of the vehicles to their unquestionable judgment.

Boarding and disembarking operations must be carried out by the driver/passenger personally. Vehicles must be driven from the entrance of the ship’s tailgate to the garage in the event of boarding, and from the garage to the entrance of the ship’s tailgate onward in the event of a disembarkation, under the direct and exclusive responsibility of the driver/passenger who will have to comply with all safety rules for movement on the relevant docks. Inside the ship, the passenger/driver will have to place the vehicle according to the instructions given by the cabin crew.

Any non-driver passengers shall board on foot through the appropriate entrances.

The vehicles on board must be left locked and insured by the Driver Passenger with the first gear grafted and with the parking brake activated.

The passenger driver is liable to the Company and to third parties for any damage caused by the vehicle, both during the boarding and disembarking operations, and during navigation.

Passengers will need to pick up their vehicles when the ships arrives.

If, upon arrival in the port of destiny, the conditions of the sea or other causes independent of the will of Delcomar do not allow the landing of the vehicles, they will be disembarked, as soon as possible, at the next landing or in the port of origin. Passengers will not be compensated in this case.

PERMANENCE ON BOARD

From the moment of boarding and until landing, the passenger is required to follow the instructions of the cabin crew and to take a view and conform to what is indicated by the signage on display on the premises inside the ship. The Company does not respond to any damages to the passenger for non-compliance with these notices or provisions.

Passengers must not enter the garage or stay on the access stairs, and must remain seated until the ship is completely stopped or the mooring manoeuvre is completed.

Elderly and disabled people can make the crossing in the garage deck as no lifts or elevators are available. Delcomar cabin crew are always on hand for any necessary individual assistance and to allow the elderly and disabled to reach the lounge

In addition to complying with the prohibitions and regulations, the passenger is obliged to behave in such a way that it does not cause harm or annoyance to other travellers or cabin crew,

or even undermines the safety of navigation.

PASSENGER RESPONSIBILITIES

The Passenger is liable for any damage caused by him/her or by a person or animal under his custody to the ship, its furniture, its appliances and accessories, its equipment, other passengers, the employees of Delcomar or its auxiliaries, third parties, as well as all penalties, fines, fines and/or expenses to which Delcomar is subject to any authority due to his/her behaviour.

WEAPONS AND DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES

It is forbidden for the Passenger to bring bladed weapons and firearms, ammunition, explosives, fuels or other dangerous or flammable substances on board without the written consent of Delcomar and the necessary legal authorizations, to be obtained by the Passenger. In this case, these items must be delivered to the Commander and can only be collected at the time of landing. ILLICIT SUBSTANCES

It is forbidden for the Passenger to include substances and items of illicit possession or contraband on board or to include substances and items of illicit possession or contraband on board.

In this case, the Passenger will be liable to Delcomar and/or anyone else who may have suffered damages, fines and amends as a result of that introduction.

DANGEROUS GOODS

The loader/driver has an obligation, prior to boarding, to declare the existence of dangerous goods on the vehicle.

The transport of commercial vehicles containing flammable, exploding, corrosive and dangerous materials is only permitted on ships enabled for this type of transport and “within the limits of the permit” under the conditions set by the safety rules and regulations.

The transport requests referred to in this article must be comunicated to ticket offices of the boarding terminals at least twelve hours in advance, specifying the type and characteristics of the dangerous goods to be transported in every detail.

SANCTIONS AGAINST USERS

The ticket is valid up to 12 months for the social lines, compatible with the availability of space. Non-use does not entitle you to a refund. The ticket must be stored for the duration of the trip and displayed on request of the staff in charge. Passengers who do not have it or receive a fare discount without showing a title are required to pay an additional ticket at a regular rate of 200%.

Passengers receiving disounts must present themselves with the document proving the right to reduction both when buying the ticket and at the time of boarding.

If the measures of the transported vehicle do not match those declared at the time of booking, Delcomar reserves the right to refuse boarding or to collect the payment of the difference between the full fare and the reduced fare that was used.

If the passenger does not make himself available to comply with the terms of the matter in this section, the Commander reserves the right to make a complaint to the relevant authorities.
